Two nights ago, WWE made history with the inaugural WrestlePalooza, live from a sold-out Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The groundbreaking event was a perfect mix of unforgettable matches, an emotional farewell, and moments that will be etched in the company’s legacy forever.
Adding to the significance, WrestlePalooza also marked the first WWE Premium Live Event ever broadcast on ESPN, bringing the spectacle of sports entertainment to an even wider audience.
The Matches That Rocked the Gainbridge Fieldhouse

The card kicked off with high energy and never let up. One of the night’s most anticipated bouts saw the return of AJ Lee, who teamed up with her real-life husband CM Punk in a dream match against WWE’s power couple, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. AJ Lee’s entrance nearly blew the roof off the arena, and her in-ring chemistry alongside Punk reminded fans why they are one of wrestling’s most beloved duos.

Later in the evening, the vacant Women’s Championship was contested as Iyo Sky squared off against Stephanie Vaquer in a battle that showcased two of WWE’s best. The two women delivered a classic filled with breathtaking athleticism and storytelling. Vaquer’s victory over Sky to capture the title was met with thunderous applause, solidifying her status as one of the company’s brightest new stars.

And in a heartfelt farewell, John Cena laced up his boots for what was billed as his final battle against longtime rival Brock Lesnar. The match was hard-hitting, emotional, and a true closing chapter to one of WWE’s most storied rivalries. After the bell, the Indianapolis crowd gave Cena a lengthy standing ovation, chanting his name as he bowed out of the ring.

The Main Event: Rhodes vs. McIntyre
Closing the show was a clash for the ages: Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship. The tension leading into this bout had been building for weeks, and the payoff did not disappoint.

Rhodes, embodying the spirit of “finishing the story,” fought with heart and resilience, but McIntyre’s raw power and ruthless determination pushed him to the brink. The atmosphere was electric as both men delivered a main-event spectacle worthy of WrestlePalooza’s debut. In the end, Cody Rhodes’ victory not only cemented his dominance but also underscored the dawn of a new era in WWE.
A Hall of Fame First
History was also made outside the ropes. For the first time ever, WWE announced
the first inductee into the 2026 Hall of Fame Class live at WrestlePalooza.
The lights dimmed, the engines roared, and to the delight of the Indianapolis faithful, The Undertaker rode down the ramp on his motorcycle to his iconic “American Badass” theme. In a moment dripping with nostalgia and reverence, The Deadman inducted Stephanie McMahon as the very first member of the 2026 Hall of Fame. It was a surprise that perfectly captured the spirit of legacy and evolution that WrestlePalooza represented.

Adding to the magic of the night was ARCG Media’s own Diego Serrano, Head of Media, who captured the very essence of WrestlePalooza through his lens. His photos and videos highlighted the emotion, athleticism, and spectacle of the evening — so much so that The Score featured his content on their social media platforms.
